Xandari
Xandari is a super-premium residential development in Summarecon Bandung, built by Summarecon. It was the first Kunkun Visual project to use an AI-generated presenter: a virtual character who walks the viewer through the house and gives a filmed interview about living in it, instead of a voiceover over a flythrough.
About the project
Born from AI exploration, Xandari is more than just a cinematic film. It features our own AI-powered character, redefining luxury real estate storytelling.
Xandari is the first project where we built our own presenter. Cinematic animation is ordinary in this market now, so instead of another flythrough we made a virtual woman and let her show you the house.
It changed what the film could do. A room described by someone who lives in it lands differently from a room the camera simply passes through.
Story
Xandari is a super-premium residential development in the heart of Summarecon Bandung, designed with a restraint that is rarer at this price than it should be. Elegant, and built around how people actually live in it.
The upper floor opens to a 360-degree view of Bandung and the mountains around it. That view is the reason the film ends where it ends.
Process and solutions
The work started with the character, not the architecture. We built a virtual model with AI first, then asked what a luxury residence sounds like when a person describes it instead of a voiceover announcing it.
The animation was cut as cinema, with a voiceover written to carry feeling rather than features.
Then we went further and shot a virtual interview: the character talking about what living there is like. It is an odd thing to describe and an effective thing to watch, because it turns a property film into somebody’s account of a home.
