Pricing

What it costs, and what moves the number.

Kunkun Visual quotes per project rather than from a rate card, because a single still image, a cinematic property film and an Unreal Engine 5 digital twin carry very different production loads. Send the brief and a scoped quotation comes back within two working days.

There is no price list on this page, and that is deliberate. A published rate would have to be either high enough to cover the worst case or low enough to be revised the moment a real brief arrives, and both waste your time.

What follows is the honest version: the five things that actually move a quotation, and what to send so the number that comes back is the number.

What moves the number

01

Which deliverable, not how many

The four service lines sit at very different production loads. A photoreal still runs 7–14 working days per image. A cinematic property film of 90–180 seconds runs 6–10 weeks from an approved concept. A KLAY digital twin is a built application, not a render, and carries the highest value per project of anything the studio makes.

02

How much of the project has to be built

Modelling is the cost nobody expects. A single unit interior is a fraction of a masterplan with a full environment, a skyline and traffic. If the architects can supply usable 3D, the quotation drops; if the brief starts from PDFs and elevations, the studio builds the world first and the film second.

03

People in frame

Empty rooms are cheaper and sell less. Virtual characters, whether AI-generated or filmed on the greenscreen stage and composited, are a production line of their own. Where the same faces have to stay recognisably themselves across a film, a billboard and a brochure, that consistency is the work being paid for.

04

Revision rounds, and when they land

Film revisions are taken at three points: storyboard, animatic and final grade. Feedback at storyboard is nearly free. The same note at final grade can mean re-rendering the sequence. The quotation states how many rounds are included, and the schedule is built around those three gates rather than around continuous changes.

05

Timeline

A normal schedule costs less than a compressed one. Rush delivery is available and is quoted separately, because it means more people on the project at once rather than the same people working faster.

What a quotation covers

  • Every deliverable named, with resolution, duration and format
  • The number of revision rounds and the points they are taken at
  • A schedule with dates, not durations
  • Usage: where the work may run, for how long, and in which markets
  • What the studio needs from you, and by when

Tell us the five things.

A quotation is only as accurate as the brief behind it. Five answers are enough for a real number rather than a range, and they come back within two working days.

Common questions

Pricing depends on scope. A single still image, a full property film, or an interactive digital twin all carry different production loads. Share your brief and Kunkun Visual returns a scoped quotation.

Because a published rate would be either too high to be fair on a simple brief or too low to survive a complex one. Kunkun Visual quotes against the actual deliverables, the amount of modelling required and the schedule, so the number in the quotation is the number.

Within two working days of a brief that names the project, its stage and the launch date. Studios in Bandung and Kuala Lumpur cover Southeast Asia, the Gulf and beyond.

Five things: which deliverable, how much of the project has to be modelled from scratch, whether people appear in frame, how many revision rounds are included, and whether the timeline is normal or compressed.

Yes, for developers with several clusters or phases launching across a year. A retainer holds studio capacity and keeps one visual language across every phase, which is cheaper than briefing each launch cold.
