Starting 2026 with Gratitude: Silent Recall Wins Platinum at the 19th AVA Digital Awards for Architectural Visualization Film

Architectural visualization by Kunkun Visual

Silent Recall won a Platinum award at the 19th AVA Digital Awards 2026, in the Digital Video Creation and Emerging Media category. Platinum is the competition’s highest tier. The film is Kunkun Visual’s non-commissioned short, and had already won Best Non-Commissioned Film at the CGarchitect 3D Awards 2025 in Warsaw.

2026 opened with a result that mattered to the whole studio.

Our project Silent Recall has been awarded a Platinum Award at the 19th AVA Digital Awards 2026, under the category Digital Video Creation & Emerging Media. This recognition represents the highest level of achievement at AVA, with only around 16% of submissions from across the world receiving Platinum honors this year.

About the AVA Digital Awards

Now in its 19th year, the AVA Digital Awards is an international competition that celebrates excellence in digital creativity, including video, interactive media, animation, and emerging technologies. Entries are judged by experienced professionals from global media, marketing, and creative industries, making the awards a respected benchmark for quality, innovation, and impact in the digital space.

Being recognized at this level places Silent Recall among a small group of works that stood out on a global stage, which we consider both humbling and deeply motivating.

The Idea Behind Silent Recall Architectural Visualization Film

Silent Recall began as an exploration rather than a fixed outcome.

We asked ourselves a simple but important question: How can architectural visualization move beyond representation and become an emotional experience?

The project combines 3D architectural visualization with AI-driven elements, allowing us to explore memory, atmosphere, and narrative within a spatial context. AI was not used as a shortcut, but as a creative partner, helping us achieve consistency, flexibility, and new visual possibilities that would be difficult to reach through traditional pipelines alone.

Through this approach, Silent Recall reflects what we believe ArchViz is evolving into:not just visual accuracy, but storytelling, emotion, and meaning embedded within space.

What This Recognition Means to Us

Receiving a Platinum Award is not just a celebration of one project, it’s a validation of our direction as a studio.

At Kunkun Visual, we believe technology should expand creativity, not replace it. It is a reason to keep questioning the workflow rather than settling into it.

Most importantly, this achievement belongs to the people behind it, the team, collaborators, and partners who trusted the process, embraced experimentation, and believed in the vision from the beginning.

We see this recognition not as a finish line, but as a starting point.

As digital tools continue to evolve, so will the way we tell stories through space. We will keep testing what ArchViz, AI and emerging media can carry, as long as there is still something underneath worth carrying.

Thank you for being part of the journey.
